Teacher Mini Grants
Teacher/Staff Mini-Grants are now OPEN!
It is that time of year again. Second quarter progress reports have gone out, FCAT and SAT10 are looming in the distance – and you have that “project” that you’ve been meaning to develop into your curriculum but just can’t find the time or necessary funds to pull it off. We can’t help with the time, but we can help with the funds!
Introducing the FSUS PTSA Mini-Grant! Mini-grants are intended to assist you in meeting the Sunshine State Standards for your field of instruction.
If you are a current member of the FSUS PTSA you may apply for a mini-grant with a maximum funding limit of $250.00! If you are not a member of the PTSA, well, why aren’t you?! This is just one of the benefits you may receive from your $5.00 annual membership fee. No kidding!
Applying for a PTSA Mini-Grant is a simple process. Fill out the mini-grant application – the guidelines are included at the top of the form which you may access by clicking here:
We do have a limited budget for the mini-grants. They are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis until our funds are depleted. A few of last year’s Mini-Grant winners included:
Debi Barrett-Hayes, Grades 9-12
Joy Cloud, Grade 1
Amy Goodman, Grades 6 & 7
Robin Krause, Kindergarten
Hillary Palumbo, Grades K-5
Ron Strazulla, Grade 12
